Welcome to February and that means it’s ONE Mission time! This is the 20th Anniversary! Can you believe that? The very first one, originally called World Reach, was in 2005. Amazing how time flies! This year’s theme is “Hold The Rope”, which comes from the father of modern missions, William Carey. In 1793, Carey was called to take the gospel to India, and before he left, he told a pastor named Andrew Fuller and some others that he would go down into the pit if they would hold the rope. For 20 years, Valleydale has been holding the rope, and we hope to continue to hold the rope for many years to come. We hope you will join us for this year’s celebration that will kick off on Sunday, February 23rd, and conclude on Sunday, March 2nd. You can find more details for ONE Mission below. Alabama Foster Parent Training Class

Valleydale will be hosting the Alabama Foster Parent Training Class beginning March 10, 2025 through May 12, 2025 (Monday Nights) from 6pm - 9pm (Glass Room). There will be an orientation meeting on February 17. 2025 beginning from 6pm - 8pm (Glass Room). Click Here for registration.

Heritage Builders meets each month to host a group of teens who are in the foster care system. This is an opportunity to teach them life skills, provide them with support, and share the gospel. We are always needing more volunteers! Reach out to Chris Johnson (chris.johnson@lifelinechild.org) or Sherri Dunn (sdunn@valleydale.org) if you are interested in assisting with this life-changing ministry.

This is a continuing need for a local ministry supported by Valleydale Church. Sav-A-Life Shelby is always in need of supplies such as diapers, wipes and other essential items. Please consider donating such items by having them shipped directly to 3156 Pelham Parkway, Suite 1, Pelham, AL 35124, or you may bring them to the church and leave them in the usher room (labeled) for pick up by Amy. And of course, you may always bring them to the center.
